If anyone has found the secret to enjoying toddlerhood because you know it will not last, and not losing your mind at the same time, could you please let me know? I'm at the bottom.
I cannot tell you how many times I felt I was 'at the bottom.' But, that doesn't last, either. One of the kids will do or say the cutest thing, and you'll snap right out of it.
Jackie's right--as much as I know I was in your shoes, it seems a lifetime ago--and it was! Now, they are all grown up, and I wonder what happened, and how did it happen so fast!
I'm certain I don't have it all figured out either, but sometimes it helps to remind myself of the wonderful qualities...curiosity, fearlessness, vulnerability...that I often lack, that are making my toddler so trying at times.

Talk to a mom whose children are all grown and on their way out of the house. Does the trick for me every time.
